In my 20+ years here at Saint Louis Bride, I have to say I’m most proud of this issue. It’s an issue of many “firsts.”
First time without a fashion and cover shoot. First time an issue was produced from home. First time we’ve ever held a competition and had a collage of real brides and couples on the cover. First time we watched our amazing wedding industry not only pivot but lead the way and get really creative during this time of quarantine where rules seem to change by the day, sometimes even the hour. First time talking to couples who said “the heck with it, we’re getting married anyway!” and eloped or had a micro wedding. Four couples. Four different stories. And, let me tell you, these couples’ stories are precious. Their photos will warm your heart and show that love truly does prevail.
I want to take this moment to congratulate the photographers, brides and couples whose images grace our Silver Jubilee cover! From top, clockwise: Jenee & Jeremy Ingrum photographed by Sara Mohamed Photography, LLC; Alyssa & Scott Ringkamp photographed by Elizabeth Lloyd Photography; Alyssa Jacobsmeyer photographed by Lisa Meyer Photography, Matt & Jade Kenney photographed by Tweter Visuals; Ashley Victorian photographed by Chosen Photography; Todd Tan & Benjamin Powell photographed by M Photo Video; Hannah Brenton, photographed by Emily Broadbent Photography; Mahnoor Malik & Farhan Raza photographed by Abby Rose Photography
And, last, but not least — cheers to 25 years, Saint Louis Bride!
Happy planning!
